El <strong>Jamaican Digital Exchange<\/strong>, o <strong>Jam-Dex<\/strong>, se puso a prueba en un programa piloto el a\u00f1o pasado y se aprob\u00f3 con \u00e9xito.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Una <a href=\"https:\/\/thecryptocurrencypost.net\/es\/cbdc-moneda-digital-banco-central\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CBDC (Central Bank Digital Currency)<\/a> es una <strong>moneda digital<\/strong> emitida por el banco central de un pa\u00eds, a diferencia de una criptomoneda, que es de creaci\u00f3n privada y no puede cambiarse por la moneda local d\u00f3lar a d\u00f3lar. No pretenden sustituir al papel moneda, sino complementarlo. El banco central de Jamaica tambi\u00e9n ha dicho que los <strong>CBDC<\/strong> no emplear\u00e1n la <strong>tecnolog\u00eda blockchain<\/strong> que sustenta las <strong>criptomonedas<\/strong> privadas.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Los d\u00f3lares digitales ya est\u00e1n siendo implementados en Jamaica por todos los legisladores del pa\u00eds, seg\u00fan <strong>Jonathan Dharmapalan<\/strong>, CEO del proveedor de tecnolog\u00eda CBDC <strong>eCurrency<\/strong>. En <strong>Brasil, Nigeria y Hait\u00ed<\/strong>, entre otros pa\u00edses, ya se est\u00e1n explorando las CBDC.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">El rastreador de CBDC del <strong>Atlantic Council<\/strong> estima que 105 naciones, o m\u00e1s del <strong>95% del PIB mundial<\/strong>, participan actualmente en la <strong>investigaci\u00f3n o el desarrollo de CBDC<\/strong>. Estados Unidos se est\u00e1 quedando atr\u00e1s en esto porque los pol\u00edticos y los banqueros centrales est\u00e1n retrasando la creaci\u00f3n de un <strong>billete verde
