Binance<\/strong> est\u00e1 bajo el escrutinio de la comunidad cripto despu\u00e9s de mover 2,7 mil millones de d\u00f3lares (USDT)<\/strong> de su wallet de prueba de reservas (proof-of-reserves)<\/strong> apenas 20 horas despu\u00e9s de publicar su art\u00edculo hablando del mismo el 10 de noviembre.<\/p>\n

Seg\u00fan el post de Reddit<\/strong><\/a>, la wallet no se revela ni se identifica como una wallet de Binance<\/strong>, y no se incluye en su publicaci\u00f3n “Proof of Reserves”.<\/p>\n

M\u00e1s tarde, 200 millones de USDT fueron retirados, dejando 2.500 millones de USDT en la “wallet extra\u00f1a” no revelada, seg\u00fan el cartel.<\/p>\n

Adem\u00e1s, el comunicado explica que faltan algunos fondos adicionales en otras wallets en su \u00faltimo snapshot de prueba de reservas.<\/p>\n

La segunda wallet de Binance bajo la red de Tron, seg\u00fan ellos, carece de unos 2.400 millones y a la tercera le faltan 500 millones<\/strong>. La mayor parte de estos fondos parece haber desaparecido el 14 de noviembre.<\/p>\n

En respuesta<\/strong><\/a> a la publicaci\u00f3n, Binance declar\u00f3 que la wallet desconocida era una cold wallet de TRX. Seg\u00fan ellos, los movimientos de activos destacados fueron el resultado de actividades rutinarias que mueven fondos entre las billeteras internas del exchange.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Adem\u00e1s, los responsables de Binance declararon que planeaban utilizarla como punto de partida mientras colaboraban con Vitalik Buterin, el creador de Ethereum<\/a>, para desarrollar una prueba de reservas en \u00e1rbol de Merkle por razones similares.<\/p>\n

“Si un exchange tiene que mover grandes cantidades de criptomonedas antes o despu\u00e9s de demostrar las direcciones de sus wallets, es una clara se\u00f1al de un problema. Al\u00e9jate”.<\/em><\/p>\n
