Mt. Gox<\/strong><\/a> ha confirmado la propiedad de cuentas<\/strong> a los acreedores afectados por el hist\u00f3rico hackeo de 2014. <\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Despu\u00e9s de iniciar los reembolsos bancarios en diciembre de 2023<\/strong>, el s\u00edndico ahora se prepara para iniciar los pagos en Bitcoin<\/a> (BTC) y Bitcoin Cash (BCH)<\/strong> en cuentas de Bitstamp y Kraken.<\/p>\n

En el correo electr\u00f3nico<\/strong>, los afectados recibieron la notificaci\u00f3n de que el s\u00edndico comparti\u00f3 sus datos<\/strong>, incluida la informaci\u00f3n de la cuenta registrada en el Sistema de Presentaci\u00f3n de Reclamaciones en L\u00ednea de MTGOX, con las casas de cambio de criptomonedas o custodios (el “Exchange”).<\/p>\n

Estos exchanges<\/strong> confirmaron la propiedad de la cuenta y la finalizaci\u00f3n de la verificaci\u00f3n de identidad.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Se espera que, en el futuro, los exchanges acepten la suscripci\u00f3n de un recibo de agencia indicado en el sistema para recibir el pago en BTC\/BCH<\/strong> en calidad de agente del afectado.<\/p>\n

Posteriormente, se firmar\u00e1 un acuerdo de recibo de agencia entre el afectado y el exchange<\/strong>, y se notificar\u00e1 por correo electr\u00f3nico cuando este acuerdo haya sido establecido.<\/p>\n

El comunicado advierte que, en caso de que la cuenta est\u00e9 deshabilitada o congelada en el futuro, el afectado podr\u00eda no poder recibir el reembolso<\/strong> en BTC\/BCH.<\/p>\n

En el marco de estos acontecimientos, varios usuarios de Reddit han confirmado<\/a> la recepci\u00f3n de estos correos electr\u00f3nicos<\/strong>, siendo la mayor\u00eda de ellos provenientes de la plataforma Bitstamp.<\/p>\n

Algunos usuarios de Kraken informaron haber recibido el correo de confirmaci\u00f3n Mt. Gox, aunque la mayor\u00eda a\u00fan siguen esperando<\/h2>\n

Adem\u00e1s, algunas de estas casas de cambio han informado a sus usuarios que seguir\u00e1n prestando servicios a clientes relacionados con Mt. Gox en ciertos pa\u00edses<\/strong>, incluso despu\u00e9s de abandonar esas jurisdicciones.<\/p>\n

Bitstamp,<\/strong> por ejemplo, cerr\u00f3 operaciones en Canad\u00e1 el 4 de enero de 2024,<\/strong> pero mantendr\u00e1 abiertas cuentas locales involucradas en el acuerdo de Mt. Gox hasta que todos los fondos adeudados sean reembolsados por completo<\/strong>, limitando ciertas funciones de las cuentas.<\/p>\n

Los primeros informes de reembolsos de Mt. Gox surgieron a finales de diciembre de 2023<\/strong>, algunos de los cuales reportaron pagos duplicados.<\/p>\n

Mt. Gox,<\/strong> en su apogeo en 2010, fue la mayor casa de cambio de Bitcoin del mundo,<\/strong> facilitando aproximadamente el 70% de todas las transacciones de BTC.<\/p>\n
