El co-CEO Arjun Sethi calific\u00f3 la compra como \u201cla base para una nueva generaci\u00f3n de mercados de derivados en Estados Unidos\u201d, y explic\u00f3 que la idea es unificar la contrataci\u00f3n, la compensaci\u00f3n y la gesti\u00f3n de riesgo bajo un mismo marco normativo.<\/p>\n<p><strong>La operaci\u00f3n es la tercera de una serie planificada<\/strong>: en mayo de 2025 Kraken compr\u00f3 NinjaTrader por 1.500 millones de d\u00f3lares y gan\u00f3 acceso a futuros listados en CME, y a unos 2 millones de usuarios. Al principio <strong>solo se listar\u00e1n contratos con volumen suficiente<\/strong>, dejando fuera los instrumentos de nicho.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Uno de los puntos m\u00e1s importantes de la adquisici\u00f3n es la legitimidad dentro de Estados Unidos<\/strong>: contar con un DCM supervisado por la CFTC simplifica la entrada de contrapartes y custodios regulados.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Por otro lado, tambi\u00e9n es un gran cambio en cu\u00e1nto a las obligaciones legales, <\/strong>ya que\u00a0operar una bolsa en EE. UU. exige reportes peri\u00f3dicos, procesos KYC\/AML y supervisi\u00f3n directa de la CFTC.<\/p>\n<p><strong>La operaci\u00f3n coloca a Kraken en una etapa de consolidaci\u00f3n de infraestructura de derivados dentro de Estados Unidos<\/strong>.
