Con esta norma, sostiene, <strong>se acabar\u00eda el bloqueo que grandes bancos imponen a plataformas cripto, fintech y usuarios<\/strong> que necesitan transferir o agrupar datos.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Como <strong>titular del subcomit\u00e9 de activos digitales del Senado<\/strong>, envi\u00f3 una carta al CFPB en la que <strong>acusa a los bancos grandes de usar su control sobre el acceso para negar servicios a empresas y personas<\/strong>, incluidas las plataformas de activos digitales. Mediante una API, <strong>el cliente autoriza a un tercero a consultar su informaci\u00f3n bancaria sin entregar usuario ni contrase\u00f1a<\/strong>.<a href=\"https:\/\/thecryptocurrencypost.net\/es\/estafas-en-cajeros-de-bitcoin-impulsan-salvaguardias-regulatorias-y-el-avance-del-s710\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> Lummis<\/a> sostiene que, sin esa herramienta, <strong>&#8220;no hay forma segura de vincular cuentas bancarias con exchanges de cripto&#8221;<\/strong>, y que <strong>la regla evitar\u00e1 que los bancos cierren el grifo por razones pol\u00edticas o comerciales<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>En la misiva cita al CEO de JPMorgan como ejemplo de rechazo institucional al sector y sostiene que <strong>el dato financiero pertenece al cliente, &#8220;no a los grandes bancos&#8221;<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Para traders y tesoreros de proyectos cripto, <strong>la norma quita trabas al alta de usuarios y baja el riesgo de quedarse sin banco<\/strong>.
