Large Russian mining and metallurgical company “Norilsk Nickel” preparing a deployment tablconv on the Singapore crypto currency exchange Huobi. In an interview with RIA Novosti said the head of the Russian branch of crypto currency exchange, Vice-President of the Russian Association of kryptonyte and blockchain (RAKIB) on trading Andrei Grachev and confirmed in “Norilsk Nickel”.
In October, the President of “Norilsk Nickel” Vladimir Potanin in interview to the newspaper “Kommersant” announced plans to launch its own stablein, which will be provided by metals. According to him, it is necessary to “ensure the cryptocurrency market asset with low volatility and obvious connections with the real values.” The launch of cryptocurrency is planned in 2019.
“Everyone has heard about “Norilsk Nickel”. There are still a few companies that want to release them (stabilini — ed.). Now we are negotiating with a number of companies in Russia on the subject of tokenization assets and their further placement… we had a meeting with Norilsk Nickel regarding their stablemen and our participation in this story as exchanges. The meeting was quite large. We exchanged a lot of information, goals and plans of interaction. We have outlined the next step of cooperation. But I can not say more,” — said Grachev.
In a press-service “Norilsk Nickel” has confirmed the fact of negotiations. Norilsk Nickel is developing the production of cryptocurrencies (coins), secured by a metal. We are open to dialogue with those who has a high level of expertise and actively communicate with market participants. Including met with Huobi because we’re interested in the opinion of the specialists of the company”, — said the Agency interlocutor.
Grachev pointed out that in addition to the “Norilsk Nickel” the interest in the issue of cryptocurrencies manifest and other Russian companies.
“Besides, “Norilsk Nickel” we are negotiating on this subject with one of Russia’s largest gold mining companies. The name I cannot divulge. The company aims to tokenservice their products,” he said.
