Coinbase representatives are leaving the organization following their ongoing strategy, with the most recent to leave being the organization’s worldwide head of advertising
The Global Marketing Head at Coinbase, John Russ, has now left the digital money trade as more staff at the organization leave in a mass departure. Russ tweeted about his choice on October 14, expressing that Coinbase requesting its staff to stay objective didn’t agree with him.
Russ tweeted that “In light of the decision @Coinbase employees were asked to make by October 7, I have decided to leave Coinbase. In my time leading Global Marketing, I have been fortunate to work alongside many great people and teams, especially our Global Marketing team. I wish all well!”
The US official political decision is only half a month away, and pressures are intense among the two camps’ allies. In any case, a few organizations are avoiding the political front, and Coinbase is doing likewise. Prior this month, Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong requested that his representatives pick between the organization’s implemented unopinionated position or head off to some place else. A few representatives have left the organization as they were not happy with the decisions introduced to them.
Armstrong sent a letter to the workers asking the individuals who are not happy with its objective position to take a severance bundle and leave. The severance bundle offered by Coinbase incorporates four months’ compensation for representatives who have been at the trade for under three years or a half year for those that have been around for more. Besides, Coinbase offered the representatives a half year of medical coverage by means of the US Government’s COBRA program.
The issue began in the mid year when some Coinbase workers fought inside, looking for the organization’s public situation on the Black Lives Matter mission.
