Ground Onchain Yield Platform Expands to Tokenized RWAs

The onchain yield infrastructure company Ground has announced a strategic expansion into tokenized Real World Assets (RWAs), moving beyond its original focus on crypto-native yield products. The expansion allows institutional and enterprise clients to access traditional financial instruments through the same API used for decentralized finance (DeFi) strategies.
According to an official announcement, Ground has integrated with tokenization infrastructure providers Centrifuge and Superstate. These partnerships bring a variety of regulated financial products onchain, managed by established global asset managers including Janus Henderson, Invesco, and Bitwise.
Integrated Assets and Partners
The new offering includes several specific funds tailored for institutional risk and liquidity requirements. Notable additions to the platform include:
- JTRSY: A tokenized Treasury fund managed by Janus Henderson.
- JAAA: A AAA-rated Collateralized Loan Obligation (CLO) strategy, also managed by Janus Henderson.
- USTB: A tokenized T-bill fund managed by Invesco.
- USCC: A crypto basis strategy managed by Bitwise.
Ground is expanding beyond crypto-native yield into tokenized real-world assets, and we're strengthening our leadership team to match this growth.

By embedding these assets into its infrastructure, Ground aims to provide “money infrastructure” that allows compliance and product teams to customize yield based on specific risk profiles. The integration with Centrifuge and Superstate enables Ground to bridge the gap between liquid tokenized treasuries and structured credit markets.
Leadership and Institutional Growth
To support this shift toward institutional financial structure, Ground has appointed Stephanie Vaughan as Chief Operating Officer. Vaughan, a veteran in financial infrastructure and tokenization, previously held leadership roles at Centrifuge and Vantard. Her appointment is intended to drive the platform’s evolution from a technical startup into a fintech partner for enterprises seeking secure, transparent access to RWAs.
The expansion follows a recent fundraise and reflects a broader trend of institutional market infrastructure merging with onchain protocols. While Ground has historically focused on blockchain-native yield, this move signals a transition toward a unified API that treats both crypto-assets and tokenized traditional securities as part of a single liquidity stack.
The available products are now live for Ground clients, allowing for dynamic yield tailoring across both crypto-native and RWA-based strategies.
