The relevant Solana documentation describes the setup for creating token accounts tied to confidential-transfer functionality, signaling that the privacy infrastructure is not limited to test environments. That makes this a mainnet deployment story rather than a roadmap item, at least for the specific token-extension components documented there.

The documentation alone does not show how widely the feature is being used, which projects have adopted it, or whether it is already part of broader application flows. It does, however, show that the underlying privacy tooling is enabled at the network level and available for developers building on Solana.

Separate Solana ecosystem material also noted broader network updates during July, including the activation of 100M compute-unit blocks on mainnet, but that change is distinct from the privacy infrastructure described in the token documentation.
