The company did not immediately provide a full public breakdown of the incident in the notice, but said the measures were taken as part of its response. That leaves users unable to move assets off the platform while the exchange continues its review.
Withdrawal interruptions are a common emergency step for centralized exchanges after a security event, especially when teams are still checking the scope of the breach and the safety of connected systems. In this case, BigONE’s statement indicates the platform is treating the situation as an active security response rather than a routine maintenance issue.
For now, the key operational change is straightforward: users cannot deposit, withdraw or trade on the exchange until further notice. BigONE said it will share additional updates as the investigation continues.
