US spot Bitcoin ETFs draw about $525 million as Bitcoin sentiment gauges turn greedier

U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded roughly $524.8 million in net inflows on Oct. 21, according to Farside Investors’ Bitcoin ETF flow dashboard. The figure matched broader reporting that put the day’s total near $525 million and marked another strong session for the product group.
The inflow came as market sentiment measures also pointed higher. The standard Fear & Greed Index stood at 68, in the “Greed” zone, while a separate custom gauge reached 82, or “Extreme Greed,” based on ETF flows, open interest growth and short liquidations, according to the data cited in the headline.
ETF demand stayed firm into late October
The Oct. 21 reading extended a run of positive flows for U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs and placed the day among the stronger sessions of the month. Farside’s dashboard shows net inflows across the ETF complex rather than a single fund, offering a clear snapshot of how much capital moved into the category that day.
Other published summaries of the same trading date also described heavy demand, though the exact total varied slightly depending on the tracker and cutoff used. The difference does not change the larger picture: spot Bitcoin ETFs continued to attract fresh inflows on Oct. 21 after a period of softer or mixed flows earlier in the month.
The sentiment readings tracked alongside the ETF data suggest that traders were also leaning more bullish, at least by traditional market gauges. Still, the inflow figures themselves are the clearest confirmed part of the story, while the custom sentiment index depends on its own methodology and should be read as a market signal rather than a direct measure of conviction.
