The aggressive compression of financial margins will force a profound restructuring of algorithmic leverage. Fragmented liquidity across various alternative blockchain platforms could trigger an unprecedented massive capital migration. Sophisticated validators will actively seek competing networks that maintain traditional inflationary issuance curves, strongly prioritizing immediate financial profitability over philosophical alignment with the original principles of decentralization and censorship resistance.
This structural exodus of independent validators would drastically reduce the geographic diversity of operating nodes. A concentrated network in specific legal jurisdictions heavily facilitates coordinated regulatory attacks, fundamentally violating the core promise of global resistance against authoritarian governmental interventions.
If the technical upgrade is definitively implemented without incorporating substantial structural modifications, the high operational cost will expel thirty percent of independent retail nodes during the first year, while the corporate dominance of the top five institutional providers will cross the critical threshold of undisputed majority control.
This complex regulatory landscape will radically transform the underlying technological infrastructure. The international network must quickly decide whether it prefers maintaining broad but financially fragile participation, or accepting a highly robust operational model strictly controlled by compliant corporate entities.
