SpookySwap Launches Orbs Orders on Sonic

SpookySwap launches Orbs orders on Sonic

TL;DR

  • SpookySwap, the prominent decentralized exchange on the Sonic network, has integrated Orbs’ dLIMIT and TWAP protocols, enabling users to execute advanced trading strategies without relying on centralized intermediaries.
  • This development enhances the DeFi trading experience by offering greater control, precision, and efficiency.
  • With over $30 million in monthly trading volume, SpookySwap continues to strengthen its position as a major player in the crypto space.

The DeFi ecosystem continues to evolve at a rapid pace, and this time, SpookySwap takes a bold step forward in redefining decentralized trading. Starting now, users of this exchange on the Sonic Layer 1 network will be able to access advanced order types through the integration of “dLIMIT” and “TWAP” protocols developed by Orbs, a leading blockchain infrastructure provider focused on on-chain execution tools.

The collaboration between SpookySwap and Orbs dates back to mid-2024. This new expansion enables traders to place limit orders which allow buying or selling at specific price points and TWAP orders, which split large trades into smaller increments executed over time to minimize market impact and reduce price volatility.

Precision Trading Arrives to DeFi

Unlike many decentralized exchanges that still offer only basic functionality, SpookySwap is raising the bar by bringing centralized exchange (CEX) features, seen on platforms such as Binance or Coinbase, into the decentralized finance arena. Orbs’ protocols are fully integrated into the existing exchange interface, maintaining a seamless user experience that doesn’t require deep technical knowledge.

This makes SpookySwap a more robust option for professional traders looking to execute complex strategies within a transparent, non-custodial, on-chain environment. These tools add to the already strong set of features offered by the protocol, including staking, yield farming, token swaps, and a launchpad for new projects.

Orbs Expands Rapidly and Strengthens Its Multichain Presence

Orbs has quickly become a crucial player in advancing tools for decentralized exchanges. Its protocols are now integrated into 15 different DEXs across 9 blockchain networks, including Ethereum, BNB Chain, Polygon, and now Sonic. As a Layer-3 infrastructure, Orbs enhances the logic and execution capabilities of smart contracts, enabling more advanced trading mechanics directly on-chain.

ORBS

Previously, SpookySwap also became the first project on the Fantom network to integrate Orbs’ “Liquidity Hub”, which resulted in better pricing, lower slippage, and a more efficient trading environment. That successful integration is now being replicated on Sonic, opening the door for further DeFi innovation on this fast-growing network.

By incorporating dLIMIT and TWAP orders, SpookySwap is establishing itself as a leading force in the DeFi space, offering tools that were once exclusive to centralized platforms.
