TRON stablecoin supply hits $91.8B as monthly growth adds $2B and Q2 activity stays elevated

TRON said its stablecoin supply reached roughly $91.8 billion in early August, up by about $2 billion over the past 30 days, while nearly 98% of that total remained in USDT. The update was shared by TRON DAO on X and also pointed to record second-quarter network metrics.

The post framed the network’s stablecoin base as continuing to expand at a steady pace, with TRON citing trillions in stablecoin transfer volume already processed this year. The figures add to TRON’s long-running role as a major USDT settlement venue, though the post itself does not by itself establish any broader market shift beyond the reported supply and transfer activity.

USDT remains the dominant share of supply

According to the TRON DAO post, USDT accounted for almost all of the stablecoin supply on the network, leaving only a small portion to other tokens. That concentration matters for understanding the scale of the system, because the headline figure is not a diversified stablecoin basket so much as a large USDT-heavy rail.

The same update also highlighted second-quarter metrics that TRON described as record levels. The post did not provide every underlying series in the message itself, but it tied the supply milestone to broader network activity rather than treating it as a standalone balance-sheet figure.

TRON has continued to position stablecoin movement as one of its core on-chain use cases. In this update, the key point for readers is the size of the supply base, the monthly increase, and the unusually high share represented by USDT. Any further conclusions about demand or adoption would require additional evidence beyond the post’s headline metrics.
