WisdomTree and MoonPay partner to expand U.S. access to WTGXX

WisdomTree said it is collaborating with MoonPay to broaden access for eligible U.S. investors to WTGXX, the WisdomTree Treasury Money Market Digital Fund. The companies said the arrangement is intended to create an additional access point to the tokenized fund through MoonPay’s platform and technology.

The WisdomTree press release says MoonPay’s network spans more than 35 million accounts. It also says MoonPay plans to use WTGXX as part of its stablecoin reserve management.

WisdomTree said the setup is meant to extend distribution beyond its direct channels, including through its broker-dealer, WisdomTree Securities, Inc. The company described the collaboration as a way to offer eligible U.S. investors another route to deploy assets into the tokenized money market fund.

The announcement also leaves open the possibility of a broader partnership. WisdomTree said the collaboration could expand to additional tokenized funds and, potentially, to markets outside the United States.
