Cardano stablecoin market cap reaches $66M after $4.9M USDCx mint

Cardano’s stablecoin market capitalization has reached $66 million, according to the Cardano Stablecoin Dashboard from Cexplorer, while a separate social post indicated that 4.9 million USDCx was minted on the network.

The dashboard tracks stablecoin activity on Cardano and shows the network’s dollar-denominated supply at the $66 million mark. The mint figure, meanwhile, was shared by an account on X that said someone had just minted 4.9 million USDCx on Cardano. The post did not add further details about the transaction’s purpose or whether it reflected broader demand.

USDCx remains a large part of Cardano’s stablecoin base

Cardano’s stablecoin market has been relatively concentrated, with USDCx making up a meaningful share of the total supply. A separate analysis cited roughly $60 million in stablecoins on Cardano, with at least $43 million in USDCx, suggesting the token already accounted for most dollar-denominated liquidity on the network before the latest mint.

That concentration matters because stablecoin supply is often used as a rough indicator of how much dollar liquidity is circulating on a chain, but supply alone does not prove how actively those assets are being used. The new mint adds to the network’s visible stablecoin stock, but it does not by itself show whether transfer volume, payments or DeFi activity have increased.

For now, the clearest takeaway is narrow: Cardano’s stablecoin market has grown to $66 million, and USDCx appears to remain a major driver of that figure.
