Miners are more interested in Kazakhstan

The developed energy infrastructure in Kazakhstan is increasingly attracting miners from around the world.

This statement was made by the head of Pavlodar region Bulat Bakauov.

According to him, large mining companies are ready to invest heavily in the launch of enterprises for the extraction of cryptocurrency. Currently, several mining teams are working on the territory of Pavlodar region.

They consume up to 59 MW of electricity per month. This volume significantly exceeds the total electricity consumption in a city such as Ekibastuz. This settlement, together with the adjacent industrial enterprises, consumes only 35 MW of electricity per month, the Kazakh official said.

However, the authorities continue to be skeptical not only of mining, but also of the entire cryptocurrency industry.

Therefore, the legalization of the cryptocurrency industry can only wait.
