Bitcoin was developed at the request of US intelligence group of American scientists, which also included the Russians. This opinion was expressed by the head of the state Duma Committee on financial market Anatoly Aksakov.
“I admit [that bitcoin is used by US intelligence]. Bitcoin is a strange product of the American tadpoles… by the Way, Russian tadpoles!” — said Aksakov, adding that nobody knows whether Satoshi Nakamoto is actually the Creator of the first cryptocurrencies.
The Russian official said that from Russia to the States migrated a huge number of smart programmers, some of them, according to Aksakov, might involved in the development of bitcoin.
“I said that in the States there are so-called digital brain, which, quite possibly, participated in creating the cryptocurrency. And bitcoin can be their product. And American intelligence agencies could use it to solve their problems,” — says the head of the Duma Committee.
Thus Aksakov sees no reason to prohibit “American” bitcoin or to limit its circulation, after all, “if you will not use cryptocurrency, they will use the dollar. How can you resist this?!”.
