Bright Food, the second largest Chinese food company, launched the optimized dairy product Cupid Farm Milk, which can now be tracked using blockchain technology.
VeChainWorld Blockchain Platform reports that Bright Food first introduced a new solution at the China International Import Expo in November 2018, and that the latest iteration is the result of several stages of refinement. Milk was chosen as one of the first products integrated with the BrightCode platform, and it is expected that other products will be added soon.
Buyers can scan a QR code on bottles of milk in order to trace the product's path through the supply chain and obtain information on the collection of milk, the medium in which it was received, and so on.
The 2014 data indicated that Bright Food's annual income is $ 19 billion. The company deals mainly with food and beverages.
VeChain is one of the best blockchain projects, working in several niches, such as tobacco, luxury goods, alcoholic beverages, clothing retail, as well as food and beverages. The project has already participated in several trials with organizations both inside and outside of China.
