The American crypto exchange ErisX is going to launch its trading platform

As reported, the Chicago stock exchange cryptocurrency EriX is planning to launch a spot trading service, the block news release The Block.

According to the report, the exchange has recently been in test mode with some financial firms that could potentially become user-friendly. One of these firms is reportedly a US brokerage company TD Ameritrade, which announced an investment in ErisX last October. It is reported that the platform intends to place spot cryptocurrencies and crypto-derivatives trading later this year after obtaining regulatory approval.

According to a report published at the time, the investment company DRW Holdings and the high-frequency trader Virtu Financial also invested in the exchange. Moreover, both also reportedly agreed to be market makers for ErisX.

According to The Block, TD Ameritrade may soon offer cryptocurrency to 11 million retail customers. Block claims that if TD Ameritrade connects to ErisX, it will be one of the first large brokers to offer cryptocurrency trading after the Robinhood.

In a tweet published on April 23, ErisX stated that currently a limited number of participants are testing the platform.
