Binance blocked part of the stolen from the stock exchange Cryptopia credt

A small part of the cryptocurrency stolen by hackers in the result of breaking the NZ crypto currency exchange Cryptopia on Tuesday 15 January, surfaced on the largest cryptocurrency exchange Binance, where he was successfully frozen by the administration of the marketplace.

The amount sent to Binance, include approximately $7 500 in Metal (MTL), $6 750 to KyberNetwork coin (KNC), $7 and 181 tokens OmiseGO (OMG) and $8 724 in EnjinCoin (ENJ). All of this is about $30 000, the amount is very modest.

Chanpen Zhao, CEO of Binance, confirmed this information, stating that they have already frozen some funds. However, Zhao noted that to track the stolen bitcoin successfully helps cryptologist.

“Just checked, we have been able to freeze part of the funds. I don’t understand why hackers will continue to send them on Binance.
