The largest bank in Switzerland will start working with cryptocurrencies

The largest private bank in Switzerland, Julius Baer, will start working with cryptocurrencies. The company plans to launch a range of cryptoinvest-oriented services.

Julius Baer has entered into a partnership with the SEBA crypto-startap. At the moment, the new services of the bank are awaiting approval by the Swiss regulator FINMA. It is assumed that they will appear on the market in the second half of 2019.

“We are very excited about the new cooperation, because Julius Baer customers can be offered direct and secure access to cryptocurrency through the SEBA platform, ” said SEBA CEO Guido Buhler.

Earlier, the SEBA startup raised $ 103 million to create a cryptocurrency bank . Representatives of the project are planning to close the gap between traditional banking services and the cryptoindustry.
