In Israel, a man was accused of stealing more than 9 million dollars

Apheku Zarda in Israel was charged with stealing 74.990.74 dash (over $ 9 million ) of his roommate, local media reported.

According to CoinMarketCap, the number of stolen coins is equivalent to more than 0.85% of the total turnover of Dash. News1 claims that the victim of the reported, Alexey Yaromenko, was reportedly an early cryptocurrency investor who has been accumulating crypto assets since 2013.

According to reports, Yarmolenko told Zard about cryptocurrencies and their trade before the theft was committed. According to the accusatory document filed by attorney Giora Khazan, Zard had the key to Yaromenko’s apartment, and he had access to the place of residence in the absence of Yaromenko.

According to the report, the coins were in Yaromenko’s wallet until March 1, when the cost of Dash was $ 82.5 per unit. Prosecutors claim that at the beginning of the month the accused used the computer of the alleged victim to steal credential data in cryptocurrencies.

At this point, Zard, reportedly, stole the contents of Yarkomenko’s wallets — either by himself or with the help of unspecified other persons — and sent them to his four purses. Finally, the report states that Zard is accused of stealing under aggravating circumstances, money laundering and getting into a computer to commit a crime.
