  • The growth was driven by strategic campaigns and rewards for early users, reaching three million users in the first two days.
  • Bitget warns about security risks on Telegram and recommends verifying the authenticity of Mini Apps.

Bitget Wallet Lite, a self-custodial crypto wallet, has attracted over six million users in just three days since its launch on Telegram.

Its growth followed the preliminary version of the app, which launched on October 28. In its official launch, Bitget Wallet Lite allows users to buy, store, and send cryptocurrencies directly from the messaging platform, seamlessly integrating into the Telegram user experience.

The development of the wallet has been driven by a series of strategic campaigns designed to attract users. Since the launch, the app has seen an increase in its user base, reaching three million in the first two days. According to Telegram data, the total number of users rose to six million, representing approximately 50% of Bitget Wallet’s total monthly user base, which has 12 million active users.

BitGet Consolidated a Successful Promotion Campaign

The success of the wallet is attributed to several initiatives, including rewards for early users who received gifts and bonuses for those who quickly joined the app. The company also conducted targeted campaigns in Telegram groups, which helped generate a sense of urgency and rewarded users eager to seize opportunities.

Additionally, partnerships with other Mini Apps on Telegram, such as Tomarket, have expanded Bitget Wallet’s reach, facilitating access to a wider user base. Another factor that contributed to this growth was the implementation of referral programs, which incentivize users to invite friends to join the platform, providing rewards for each successful referral.

Despite the growing activity in the crypto ecosystem on Telegram, Bitget has issued warnings about associated risks, including phishing attacks and fraud. Users are urged to verify the authenticity of Mini Apps through Telegram’s official verification mark and customer service, as user data can be manipulated, leading to confusion about the legitimacy of certain applications.

Although Bitget Wallet Lite has not yet obtained official verification from Telegram, this badge is expected to arrive soon, which will enhance user trust.
