Huobi goes to the Russian market

Huobi Group, the largest cryptomeria by revenue, began its work in Russia and opened an office in Moscow. The announcement of the opening of the Russian branch took place last week during a closed-door conference on Huobi Cloud.

Huobi Cloud project, created in conjunction with VEB Digital Transformation Center and the Russian experts on the blockchain and stock trading. The new project, and Houbi Russia, will organize in our country the study of the blockchain, educational programs and make regulatory initiatives.

Executive Director of the Russian office Andrey Grachev said that despite the downturn of the stock market, activity in the country is growing, and trading volumes have already exceeded $20 million.

“Houbi Russia will provide services in the field of blockchain technology for businesses and ordinary users. We will organize educational programs and help with the design and legal activities.”

A couple of days ago Huobi representatives at their conference in London announced the intention to expand and set new goal is to make their platform suitable for institutional clients by 2019. The company also intends to work together with regulators from different countries to create transparent and clear legal framework in respect of the blockchain and cryptocurrency.
