Dash Core Group has cut 8% of staff, including strategic director and director of business development. At the same time, the rest of the developers voluntarily refused wages and bonuses.
Dash management reported that the company has already banned the hiring of new employees for half a year, and all expenses go exclusively to the development of the project.
"Dash Core Group had to make some tough decisions to maintain financial stability in the light of the current market, " said Dash CEO Ryan Taylor.
He explained that staff cuts would affect only certain parts of the company in order to maintain a stable job.
In November 2018, Dash set a record for the number of processed transactions. The network processed 3.5 million transactions per day, surpassing Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum and Ripple.
