Huobi introduced a budget blockchain phone with a built-in crypto wallet

Huobi Global has announced a $ 515 blockchain phone called Acute Angle. This model was created by the Whole Network startup, which Huobi had previously invested in. It was also announced that the Whole Network startup token, called NODE, will be added to the Huobi Prime exchange.

The phone runs on the Android operating system and is currently available in China. In the fourth quarter of 2019, an issue is planned for Southeast Asia, and an release date for the United States and Europe has not yet been specified.

Huobi Global CEO Livio Ven said that blockchain phones have a great future: “We believe that blockchain phones are a promising area for the future development of the blockchain industry. With the development of the industry and the introduction of innovations like 5G, we believe that more and more representatives of the cryptocurrency community will want to trade and make transactions from mobile devices. ”

Acute Angle includes built-in crypto functions, such as push notifications for trading, a dapp wallet, an additional plug-in for a cold wallet, and its own NODE token.

This phone can be purchased for a Huobi exchange token and it will cost about half the price. In addition, users of Acute Angle during the free distribution will be able to get NODE tokens.

Huobi said Acute Angle is the first blockchain phone in its future lineup. Plans to create models with support for 5G.
