LVMH and Microsoft have joined forces to develop a blockchain platform that will allow you to verify the authenticity of luxury goods.

LVMH is a transnational company from France that manufactures branded products under such names as Louis Vuitton, Givenchy, Guerlain, Chaumet, Moët & Chandon, Hennessy, etc.

The platform is called Aura and is aimed at serving the producers and consumers of the luxury industry, introducing a service to track them.

Brands Louis Vuitton and Christian Dior have already become participants in this project, and now there is a question about the further distribution of the platform to other trademarks of the company.

According to the developers:

“AURA gives customers the opportunity to gain access to the history of goods and confirm the authenticity of luxury goods – the full path from the choice of raw materials to the store counter, as well as it can be used even when buying in the secondary market.

The platform contains unique information about each product that consumers can easily recognize using a branded application.

The application is based on the Etherium blockchain and Microsoft Azure technology.

In addition to product authentication data, the program will also provide ethical and environmental information, care advice and warranty service.
