Today, two major South Korean cryptocurrency exchange suddenly went offline after the problems started on the servers of Amazon Web Services (AWS), which houses critical system components trading platforms.

AWS is one of the world’s most popular cloud services today is experiencing a major server error, and with it the exchange Upbit and Coinone. Was unavailable several popular portals of online trading.

“3:19 PM at 4:43 PM PST we have seen an increased error rate in the Asia-Pacific region. The problem has been resolved and service is operating normally”, — stated in the AWS.

Upbit has published several ads when recorded the disruptions, and apologized for not able to warn users in advance. Also, the administration of the exchange has assured customers that it will take a number of measures to prevent them from losing their money, and will cancel the application at the indicated conditions. To date, trading on Upbit was resumed.

Coinone, on his part, said that he was leaving on a forced maintenance mode which it remains at the time of publication.
